Well known actor Rohit Roy was born in Nagpur, but he belongs to a Bengali family. Born in 1968, Rohit's childhood was spent in Nagpur and Ahmedabad. His father Brothindra Nath was a businessman and mother Dolly Bose a skilled housemaker. Actor Ronit Roy is his elder brother. Rohit is married to actress Mansi Joshi. They have a daughter named Kiara. Rohit has worked in many serials as well as films.
He played Rishabh Malhotra in the serial Swabhiman, aired on Doordarshan in the 90’s. Even today many people know him by this name. His popular films are Shoot Out at Lokhandwala, Ek Khiladi Ek Hasina and Kaabil. During the lockdown, he made several short films with his wife Mansi. Though he is 50 years old, he doesn’t look like 50 at all!
